I don't see anything in that blog where Lefty "proclaims his greatness". :noidea:

Nor in the CBS article that he cites in his first paragraph: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/13783708/steelers-camp-report-leftwich-ready-to-lead-offense

Just another stupid blog written by an idiot.

I love stuff like this, it gives me a chance to see Mortimer. Sounded like someone making up an opportunity to take a swing at someone they just didn't like.

Ah the internet.

Where any idiot can spout mindless drivel and false headlines and have them taken as fact.

Don't believe me? Well you just read what I wrote here, and probably believed it. And I be dummmm.

Speaking of idiots, I think it was yesterday I read where Florio claimed that Jeff Reed's bitching was costing him his kickoff duties.

I agree with the sentiment that he didn't say anything self inflating. I even went to that "Like riding a bike" link on the page and read that one. Sounded to me like he pretty much was stating how he was still comfortable being back in our offense.

I don't either. I also don't find any faults in the article in the Jags Journal. Lefty is still hurt by his release from Jacksonville and it's only natural for him to feel that way. He needs to put that in his past though and move on, just like the article says.

I read the first comment. They said they remembered Lefty taking over for Ben (they think he wasn't playing well or injured or something) 2 years ago and winning the game and that Ben IS the one who is over rated. It was no doubt the Redskins game and Cliff Stout could have won that game after he broke his hand. I'm still backing Dixon but if it's Byron I'll be OK if he doesn't get sacked the first few times he drops back.
