For the first time in his career, Ben has a full set of offensive weapons to work with. This is what we expected a few years ago with the "Young Money Crew." AB, Wheaton and Bryant are the real deal. Add in Bell and the Steelers are very hard to defend. Heath still has a little gas in the tank. Blount adds value. Anything Lance Moore does is a bonus. This team can score, and they seem to have a killer instinct now.

It's a pleasure watching Ben having fun, "almost" broken jaw and all!

The Steelers haters are out in full force on Facebook tonight saying that he only did with "a lot of help from the refs." A lot of rape comments in there too. Haters gonna hate.

I'm just going to appreciate what Ben has done this season.

He also has an O-line that is improving, something else he hasn't had in a long time.

Ben's offensive numbers are off the chart, but his ability to handle pass rush pressure and not wilt, even when he is taking repeated hits, is unmatched by any QB in the game. I think Ben and this offense are serving notice. I felt they could be special this year, and finally they are now delivering and then some. It's a combination of things that have elevated this team over the last 2 weeks.......better play calling, Martavis Bryant getting on the field, better Oline pass protection, etc. I hope they can keep this up on the road as 4 of the next 5 are away from Heinz Field.

Ben Roethlisberger's stats since Martavis Bryant started playing 3 games ago: 88-of-119 (73.9%) for 1,127 yards (9.47 YPA), 14 TDs & 0 INTs.

And that is part of the reason why I am not as passionate about sports as I used to be. I'm really tired of the classlessness and abject idiocy from fans.

Kind of like some of the post on here about the Steelers a few weeks ago. How finicky the NFL is....

Flacco's still a pretty good QB, IMO. A hell of a lot better than Dalton. I don't sweat the Bengals like I do the Ravens, primarily because of Dalton.

Flacco's not bad. He's just not really in the "pay him like an elite QB and have to sell of a chunk of your team" tier that people seemed to think he was for a while.

Bert Flaccid is good for moonballs, wilting under sacks and pressure and shaping eyebrows. Other than that, he blows.

Hey...

there's something that board does right. Why don't we incorporate a "Vent Thread" for people who just have to vent after games? A thread where everyone just nods and says, "Yeah, that's my emotions speaking. I'll come back in a day or two and talk analysis."

Of course, here's hoping we don't need anything like that for the rest of the year.

To be fair, I did create one after the first 2 games. Don't know why I got away from it.

As for Moonball Joe, there's a reason why we call him that. He got paid based off one fluke run to a championship, and now that he got his money, he's back to playing like stale piss. I'd still take him over DaLOLton, though. Now that guy sucks.

Of course, here's hoping we don't need anything like that for the rest of the year. We already kind of do that on game day threads, where we have no filters and just spew out pure emotions. But, yeah, I think a single "vent thread" would have some interesting conversations.

If Ben isn't in the discussion for MVP or at least offensive player of the year right now, I'll be a little miffed to say the least.

Thanks for the link. So many good laughs reading those posts!

So many delusional Rat fans blaming the refs for the loss yet not one mention of the missed/bad calls that went their way.

If we win the SB, we should put that on the other side of our helmet, or at least on Ben's helmet.
