LeBeau expects more consistency

The Steelers defense forced three turnovers that set up 17 points for the offense in the 30-23 victory Monday night against Houston. It shut down the Texans running game after halftime, allowing 31 yards rushing in the final two quarters, and did not allow a touchdown in the second half until 1:31 remained on the clock.

It was, in many ways, the best performance the defense put forth this season. But it was a salty Dick LeBeau who met with reporters Thursday afternoon. The longtime Steelers defensive coordinator would like to see his unit develop some consistency.

“To be totally honest with you, we’re capable of so much more,” LeBeau said............

If hes grading what he sees, its time he relegates Harrison to the bench in favor if giving Shazier more Playing time.
It would be a stupid move to remove Spence from the starting lineup.

still not sure what so many see in Spence , he was supposed to be this ILB that could run with TEs and cover RBs out of the backfield as his strong suit ... ( he is undersized as a fireplug run stopper ) he is no longer fast enough to cover those guys and we rank near the bottom of the league vs TE's and RB's going out in patterns ( the Job he was supposed to do best ) ...

Sure it was a great story , his injury , his comeback attempt but to be quite honest its a failed venture at this point , he is not producing at a very high level plain and simple ...

I was not sold on the draft pick Spence but held out hope , I am less sold on the post op version of Spence ... he is just another guy nothing more nothing less

as a side note the only reason Shazier has not been on the field is injury and without that injury Spence never see's the field
