For some reason or other when I went through the Steelers schedule after the Browns debacle I predicted this game to be a win? I'm not going to go back on that now. So my prediction is the Steelers somehow ugg out a win. Call it 27-17, Steeler score a defensive touchdown somewhere along the way.

But predicting it is one thing. Believing it another. Right now I don't have much faith in my prediction. Can anyone out there give a solid rationale as to why this game will go down in the W column?

Anyway not trying to influence the picks. Predict as you believe. But I sure would love to see someone smart give a sound argument why this game will end up as a Steeler win. Make me believe.

The Steelers seem to play well the week after a humiliating defeat. I will say 14-10 steelers, because there is no way the Steelers O scores more with JJ Watt spending half the game in Ben's personal space

I'm not going to dare predict a final score, but I think we could see an inspired defense after everyone calling them soft this week. At least you would hope so. Maybe Harrison is in better football shape this week.

However, comma, McClendon is out and love him or hate him he is miles ahead of Cam Thomas at NT so that's scary. Maybe MCCullers shoots out of the gate and never looks back.

Texans 20-17. Clowneys 50/50 to play. I'm just hoping some of the Steeler rookies will get a chance to play.

Night game at home? I'm picking the Steelers, but it won't be pretty. It'll probably look a lot like the Jacksonville game, but Houston will get 1-2 touchdowns whereas the Jags only got field goals.

37 - 13 Steelers

Just to mess with everyone.

Ben will be sacked at least 5 times

Coming off an embarrassing loss there is no reason we shouldn't win.

Otherwise I don't see this team playing with any real purpose until they are at the threshold of playoff elimation....again.

27-23 steelers. we'll win this one and a sense of false hope will come over us only to be washed away the next week. Rinse. Repeat until the end of the season is upon us and we yet again miss the playoffs while staying the playoff race until the bitter end.

The Steelers usually show up on MNF . so I'll say Steelers 45-17 :lala:

Steelers, 23-20. Ben gets sacked at least 5 times but we somehow manage to pull a 'W' out of our asses.

Texans win, 17-15. Sushi kicks 5 FGs and we are up 15-10 with 2 minutes to play in the 4th. Houston drives down the field easily and wins.

23-21 Steelers win on last second field goal in another terrible display.

I predict a fugly win to the tune of 15-13, including an 87-yard fumble recovery for TD by JJ Watt. Marcus Gilbert breaks down in a sobbing mess and has to be escorted to the sideline.

Tim McKyer . . . classic. Long before the Steelers were Tebowed, the were Pupuned. What an absolutely sickening game.

Damn Zu, I sure hope alot of these replies gives you the hope you were looking for. I'm not a 'win' believer yet, nor will I probably be at game time. I will be driving to the burgh to go to the game, so I'm definitely hoping alot of the replies are right and we pull out a big Monday night win ! I hate to do it, but having to see the lack of desire of this team, the pathetic coaching, and the lack of the coaches getting the players 'pumped' to play, I'm gonna say the Texans win 31-13. I hope they prove me wrong. Go Steelers.

I could never bet against the Steelers. I think Ben and Bell have big games. Still struggle in the red zone.

23-17 for the Black and Gold.

I'm changing my pick. The entire Texans team catches Ebola , can't play and still beat the Steelers on a last second FG .

Steelers will win, you all can thank me afterwards.

I'm putting 15 points on Houston in my office pick 'em, chances are good that if I choose right, I will win this week.

As my luck as been, whoever I choose in games that essentially decide if I win or lose, they lose. So I am choosing Houston, therefore Houston will lose.

Thank me later. Oh, btw, I'm giving up $50 for this too :)

The Steelers stumble their way to a win, 16-13. Issues are still unresolved, but hey, at least everyone can say they won.

Also, rain is expected throughout the day and night on Monday, so that could have a significant impact on the game.

With the Pittsburgh Sybil-ers you never know who is going to show up on game day.

I hope Ben remains in one piece after this game. JJ Watt really concerns me, the guy is a monster and a humble one at that.

I am in full voodoo mode, but the Steelers' only chance of winning is if Texas self-destructs more than them and loses the game.

31-17 Texans

With losses by both the Bengals and Browns, the table is set for the Steelers to re-enter the AFC North race. I anticipate a bad case of indigestion as the 31st ranked red zone offense takes on the third ranked red zone defense, that has 9 takeaways inside their own 20 yard line. Yardage and TOP will once again not matter on the scoreboard. 27 - 16 Texans.

I'm down to this. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and expect something in between. If the Steelers lose Vegas will get slaughtered. I hear over 70% of the money is coming in on the Texans. So I think that bodes well for us. Because Vegas doesn't usually set a line that hurts them.
