The Steelers can move the ball with the best of them in the NFL, right up there with Andrew Luck's Indianapolis Colts and Drew Brees' New Orleans Saints. In fact, Ben Roethlisberger's offense averages more yards per game than Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos.

The Steelers are one of five teams in the league averaging more than 400 yards per game, yet they are among the least productive when it comes to scoring in the red zone. The Steelers are 26th in the NFL in touchdown percentage in the red zone, scoring on just 44 percent of their trips inside the 20.

The NFL average is 60 percent, and the Broncos score touchdowns on 77 percent of their trips into the red zone. It's not a coincidence the Broncos average 29 points per game, seven more than the Steelers.......

The play calling gets stupid in the red zone.

:iagree:

Like lining up with an empty backfield in a first-and-goal situation at the 4-yard line...

Another solid TE has been the missing piece to this offense for years.

Steelers should have drafted Tyler Eifert. Nick O'Leary in 2015?

I think the play calling for the redzone offense is the problem. Why throw it so much in the redzone when we have the personnel built for running it? I think the Steelers should be more conservative in the redzone and run the ball more, especially with a thumper in Blount.

Eventually, a reverse will work.

Hate to break it to every one, but turning the play calling over to Ben is not the answer. Looks like he has been the one making the red zone play calls.

SHould likely still fire Haley though.
