The road to recovery for Steelers tight end Heath Miller was a long and winding one after having his right knee surgically repaired nearly two years ago.
At times, Miller appeared tentative and uncertain when he returned in Week 3 last season. Physically, he was fine. Mentally, the scars remained.
On Sunday, one of the Steelers' most prolific pass catchers will step onto EverBank Field in Jacksonville with his confidence intact. Miller, it seems, has come all the way back, considering he had a career-high 10 catches against Tampa Bay last Sunday.
Miller's best effort didn't go unnoticed even amid a stunning 27-24 loss to the Buccaneers at Heinz Field. ...............
