Heath Miller (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8444/heath-miller?ex_cid=null) flashed open near the goal line and caught a pass that Ben Roethlisberger (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5536/ben-roethlisberger?ex_cid=null) floated just enough for Tampa Bay Buccaneers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/tb/tampa-bay-buccaneers?ex_cid=null) Eric Wright (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/10497/eric-wright) to deliver a crunching blow in the end zone.

Wright was penalized 15 yards for the helmet to helmet hit, but Miller’s touchdown was negated by an offsetting penalty.

Three plays after Kelvin Beachum (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/15035/kelvin-beachum)'s hold wiped out Miller’s first touchdown of the season, the veteran tight end caught a 5-yard scoring pass, holding onto the ball after getting sandwiched by a pair of Buccaneers defensive players.

And what did Miller do after scoring twice and twice paying the price for one touchdown?

Nothing..........

Miller doesn't know how to have fun.

Class act, nonetheless.

That's exactly the story everybody in the locker room needs to read. Arguably the best TE in Steelers' history with special mention of "The Rabbi".

Lol. The poor guy is just a robot ; ) Doesn't he realize that dancing is the only reason fans watch the NFL? Lol

You know guys, you can just go ahead and call me out if you're going to mock my opinion. Don't just make backhanded comments and not expect me to figure it out.

My point is and has always been that players should be allowed to have fun on the field. Period. You can disagree, fine, but come at me with at least a little bit of freaking respect.

As for the topic, Miller is simply a different animal. He likes to just go out there and play ball, and you know what? I'm just fine with that. Not everyone is expressive. It doesn't make him boring, not does it mean he isn't having fun. Different strokes for different folks.

My comment was not directed at you in particular. See the other thread where I replied to your Jerome Bettis question.

I don't have problems with some emotion from the players, either. But when it starts costing the team, then I just wish they would say, "OK, I know I get excited because I'm having so much fun, but I'm promise to tone it down a bit because it's hurting my team". The environment has changed and the refs are flag happy these days. Save the dancing for special times.

Haven't most of the celebration/taunting penalties this year been on scoring plays? I mean I know that the player "expressions" have been on numerous plays, but I seem to remember mostly scoring plays being flagged.

If I am remembering correctly, what's the big deal? Moving the PAT back 15 yards should still be pretty much a gimme. Moving the kickoff back 15 yards, simply puts it in the neighborhood of where the ball lands in the endzone, instead of 5 rows into the seats.

Now 15 yard penalties during an offensive drive...that is a whole other thing

He's boring. What a boring player. I don't care if he scores touchdowns; I want all of our players to be good dancers. He should be dancing after every play.

Flipping the ball to the ref -- what a square. I bet he files his taxes on January 1 and thinks the Patriot Act is great. Someone teach this idiot a lesson about respect for the end zone celebration.

I know everyone is different but I sure wish some of Heath would rub off on AB.
“I didn't realize, I guess, I had those kind of numbers,” Miller said. “It sort of doesn't matter if you don't win.”
Miller methodically has crept near the top of the Steelers' record book. He surpassed Elbie Nickel as the team's all-time leading receiver among tight ends.
He's fourth in career receiving yards with 5,470 after an 85-yard performance against the Buccaneers.
“Maybe one day it'll be more significant than right now,” Miller said.
“You really don't have time doing the season to think about those sorts of things. My focus is to do what I'm asked to do to help the team win.

Heath is definitely a class act. I'm glad we've been able to watch him play here. Best tight end in Steelers history.

Ben was lights out today but Earl "Heath" Miller cracked the 500 receptions club, good for third in Steelers history behind Ward and Stallworth.
