Man! What a play by the O-Line! This shows WHY Pouncey is a Pro Bowler and DeCastro will be too!

Immediately after Pouncey chips off the first block, he is looking to the second level for his next block.

I am shocked by the low level of fundamentals displayed by the Panthers defense. Kuechly got caught in the wrong gap and the rest of the front 7 was physically overpowered. That comes from the poor attitude and demeanor of the Panthers coaches. Clearly this is a team where the coaching staff needs to face some serious scrutiny and likely needs replaced.

Besides player responsibility, Rivera did called out the coaching staff more than the players in his post game presser. He pretty much said it starts with the coaches.

The video title is "we got beat" on the Panther video section at about the 50 second mark. I would have posted the link but these dang iPhones. :chuckle:

Pouncey and Bell made that run, but I'm more impressed by Bell. He make the Panthers Linebackers. Bell's patience and vision alone completely neutralized Kuechly, and Pouncey got off his Double team block to neutralize the other linebacker.

Bell went right just enough to draw Kuechly to the right gap, and that wonderful cut back left to the other giant hole (which doesn't appear if he isn't patient) and it was off to the races. There was really nothing the Panthers could do there. Overpursue and miss Bell entirely, or react and have the giant holes for Bell to run through. Bell was going to get daylight regardless.

That is special stuff they can't teach. Bell is amazing.
