This is the man "leading" the NFL. Not only woefully incompetent, but a coward too.

Roger only took the job because he wanted the marquee value and the attention, and the ability to toss out anything he wanted (fines, suspensions, rules, bad policies), but when the rubber meets the road and the spotlight is on him, he just bs' his way out.

Shut Up, Roger. You're full of it and everyone knows it now. Ray Rice will take the fall for your incompetence. So will Jon Dwyer, so will Adrian Peterson and so will the rest of the NFL.

When the NFL inevitably crashes and burns under your nonsense, you'll just slink out the door. Coward.

This guy has been mismanaging the NFL ever since he got here and the NFL has declined as a product ever since he got here. Bad decisions galore from the wussification of the game to the need to tinker with everything that was perfectly fine and only end up making it worse. From turning the NFL into glorified flag football, to the mismanagement of the NFL draft, player fines for playing football, somehow making the pro bowl a bigger embarrassment than it already was, among many others has had me calling him to get fired for a long time. Then this incident happens and the whole world gets to see what us board members and a few others have known since before the current decade, that Goodell is a buffoon who doesn't know what he's doing who needs to get fired. I would be really disappointed to see him survive this fiasco

Now there are NEW details that the Baltimore Ravens DID know about the incident and tried to cover it up.

So, if the Ravens KNEW about the incident, then it's very clear that that Goodell knew about it too. Who wants to bet Goodell now makes his knee-jerk save face reaction and fines the Ravens so-and-so? Hey, someone has to take the fall for Roger. The Ravens will be punished, but this asshole will get off scot-free.

This is becoming more and more of a catastrophic fubar as it goes on. Step down Roger while you still have the chance. Please fuck off.

Fuck Goodell. The owners need to get some balls and get rid of him.

Goodell is pretty sorry. First time I've agreed with him.

Any players care to take another shot at voting for this new CBA?

Maybe the Steelers players DID know more than everyone else.

Can only imagine how upset Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints must be watching Commissioner's press conference
