He was manhandeled all evening.Cowher talked up Jason BIG TIME in the Pre-game.

I would LOVE to hear what Coach has to say right now about him!

after a performance like that you choose ONE player as a culprit? lol

Sure enough, he's looking for big money next year and I hope he gets it from some other team.

He won't be back next season no matter what.

If he gets hot and at the end of the season his stats look decent, some team is going to overpay for him. If he continues to play like a steaming pile of dog crap, the Steelers will let him go be a backup elsewhere.

i agree completely. whether he stays or not isnt going to make me happy. i mean who do we have to look forward to as our starting OLB's the following year? A jarvis jones thats a work in progress and the outstanding arthur moats? ugh. more transition

I'm calling bullshit on those stats. 1 tackle and 1 assist?!?!?!?

Show me where that occurred. He was nonexistent. I didn't think he was on the field.

I was never impressed with that dude even last year.

Neither was I. He's playing his way out of Pittsburgh. 14 games to go and he's gone!

i think he shot himself in the foot by not taking a contract cause he was sure he was going to tear it up, thus far he is making sure he sits the pine, come on in moats get it going. some benching needs to happen on the D.

So...ummmm....how overpaid was Woodley?

At least when Woodley was healthy and on the field he had an impact.

Man, i really thought that Worilds was going to put it all together this year. Wrong on that count!

I thought he was very disappointing . No impact at all . How much did we pay him this year?

Worilds is getting paid over $9M this season alone. The guy looks slow and too heavy to me so far this season.

Funny how Woodley played like that for years, but certain people made up excuses for him. Now, only 2 games in, Worilds sucks...lol.

Let us apply some of the Woodley excuses for Worilds....

Heyward isn't doing us job.

Worilds is being double and triple-teamed.

Worilds is in pass coverage 90% of the time.

He is coming off an injury.

Woodley was dominant when he was at his peak(2008 to the mid-season in 2011)

44 sacks in 57 games and 11 sacks in 7 playoffs games

Lol worilds has never approached Woodley as a player. So if people want to ride him and his huge contract that he never earned so be it. We have turned Into a team that pays shit players big money and you guys wonder why we have been average

Worilds is average at best as an OLB on the Steelers. I'm thinking Clark Haggans-esque?

The bright side for Worilds is he's not going to be dead money beyond this year.

He took the risk, and admittedly the nice paycheck, in lieu of longer security and right now it's not working out for him... but there's still 14 games left. While I'm not impressed so far, he's not the biggest problem either and I don't think he's going to be benched right away. If he doesn't pick if up the next couple games, then sure, we're going to see some Moats.

It's tempting to say that even if he does pick it up we'll question his motivation and let him walk anyways... but maybe not. Nearly the entire team is playing unmotivated and I'd be more likely to call it a coaching issue. So I guess the verdict is, it's too soon to have a verdict on Worilds' season. If he doesn't use the last few games of the season to play himself into a monster contract, we might see him extended here whether we like it or not.

in fact we should do 1 on O one of D every week and whomever earns the most should find themselves unemployed in 2015

Maybe at the end of the year we can give out an "Have You Seen This Person Award", and mail a trophy to the club house for him.

The Milk Carton award.
Instead of the Horse Trailer from Monday Night Football with the MVP's on it when Madden was on there, we could have the Milk Truck with the milk cartons on it. :chuckle:
