Three players were happy their phones didn't ring on Saturday.One was washing his car, another went fishing, while a third just did everything and anything he could to get his mind off things as the clock turned painfully slow, hour after hour getting closer to that 4 p.m. deadline without any news.

I truly don't know how these guys do it. I would be a hot mess waiting around to know if my lifelong dream had come true.

Did you guys watch Hard Knocks? It's all so stressful. But I told my wife while we were watching it that if they are showing a guy at the end, setting up that he's about to be cut, you know he's safe. That turned out to be the case once again. They always pull that reversal on Hard Knocks. It's still interesting to watch the process.
