Hair envy?

Class move by a once class organization. Jerrah definitely has more money than brains.

Doesn't surprise me. After all, Jones is still delusional enough to think that he was the sole reason for their SBs in the '90s.

Jimmy Johnson was the mastermind behind the 90's teams, and admitting that would be a beatdown on Jerry's ego.

Yeah, which explains their sustained success since. :chuckle:

From reading Jones quotes, you get the sense he would take Landry out of the ring of honor if he could get away with it.

Same ego problem that is keeping him from firing their current under performing GM. He's got money, but no respect from anybody other than who he pays. Keep up the good work.

I love that Jones is turning into a modern day Al Davis.

Jones could only hope to be Al Davis. As bad as Al was in his later years, Jones couldn't hold a candle to what Al knew about football. I understand its the popular thing to hate on Al Davis but, the truth is, Al Davis was an icon in this league.... a maverick, a pioneer... one that will likely never be seen again.

Jones is a f**kin' idiot with too much money and an ego that is bigger than his bank account. He should never be compared to Al Davis, as there is no comparison.

Current Jones and Modern Day Al Davis...much to be compared. No one mentioned Al Davis as a whole.

Couldn't agree more. At least Davis had the balls to tell the NFL to go to Hell when he moved his team to L.A. and I have to respect him for that. I can't think of one thing Jones has done that I respect.

Jerry was lucky to have Jimmy as coach. No Jimmy and you see the results since 1996: mediocrity

Jerry Jones is a straight up asshole. The Cowboys don't sniff three Super Bowls in the 1990's if it's not for Johnson. Hell, if Jones could, he would take Tom Landry out of it.

Yep. I saw Jones' interview on this topic on I think it was ESPN the other day, and he just came across as such an obnoxious arrogant prick asshat. It's very much personal with him.

You are very perceptive. Jones is superficial, he is arrogant, and was, and is still, very jealous of Johnson. If it wouldn't have made him look like a fool, he would have hired himself as the coach of the cowboys after he fired Johnson.
