Punter Daniel Sepulveda will kick off for the first time in a game when the Steelers play the New York Giants Saturday night.

Coach Mike Tomlin has been content with Sepulveda's kickoffs in training camp, including more Tuesday afternoon.

Punter Daniel Sepulveda took all the kickoffs during Tuesday's practice and will kick off this weekend against the Giants.

"I was impressed with him," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. "He is a viable candidate in that area to at least potentially share those duties with Jeff (Reed)."

I like this development and can't wait to see it for myself Saturday. I believe the game is going to be on NFL Network Saturday night at 6 central. Hope I saw that right.

Yeah, you are correct. I will be watching the game on 7PM Eastern.

I can't wait to watch him and see if he is an improvement over Reed on kickoffs.

I like the idea. I am interested to see if this helps the special teams coverage on KO's due to more hang time and better kick placement. Plus as posted earlier Daniel can tackle as well.
