Dress him out on game days just to run dive plays at the goal line.

The upside of McCullers is in the simplicity of his game. In watching film of him, I cannot recall ever seeing him get turned and moved out of the hole. I am sure it happened, but I cannot recall seeing it. He is just so big and naturally strong, that single blockers are screwed and the double team might seal him, but they won't turn him. He plays high, but again, with his raw strength, he gets away with it. He is raw, does not have any moves, and really does not use his hands that well. He is not a guy that moves quickly. But, if you teach him to use those hands, maybe add a rip, arm over, and club to his arsenal (I would work power moves first), then you could have a guy that can learn to shed blocks and be a truly effective tackle to tackle player. I just think you do not ask him to do things he does not do, like use speed in the gaps, spin, etc, and limit his snaps on known passing downs, because I do not think that is an area where he will be effective.

Anytime you have a lean, 6'7"-350 dude, you have to try and see if you can make him stick.

That's what the video said about McCullers. He's slow off the snap and is not a technician. I think this is why he fell to the 6th. If McCullers had any semblance of technique, he'd be a 1st-2nd rounder no question.

He's just a big tree at this point. He won't move much, but that's the point. He won't move.

A very intriguing project for sure. I definitely hope he sticks around.

Damn, he's gotta make the team/offense ! What better player to get behind on short yardage situations ? You know he could easily plow forward for a TD!
