Why should have Ben started? Let him get his reps in camp and practice; don't expose him to the risk of injury now when we need to sort out the rest of our QB situation anyways.

Agreed. And after watching Lefty and Dixon, they both need all the reps they can get in real game action (or as close to it as preseason action gets, anyway). Starting Ben would not have benefited us one iota.

Ben will get to play with the ones. Just because it didn't happen right away, doesn't mean it won't.

Sheesh, fans must already think the preseason has been shortened to two games.

Agree 100%. I wouldn't be bothered if Ben didn't get a snap for the entire preseason.
