The Steelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) have gained speed on both (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000357785/article/ryan-shazier-resembling-a-younger-troy-polamalu) sides (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000362997/article/rookie-dri-archer-expects-to-play-big-role-for-steelers) of the ball, but Pittsburgh hasn't abandoned its quest to blast people with the run.

In an AFC North flush (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000362752/article/game-rewind-notebook-is-ben-tate-bellcow-material) with (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000362323/article/pettine-browns-will-use-rb-by-committee-approach) talented (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000353839/article/bengals-jeremy-hill-ahead-of-benjarvus-greenellis) young (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000356604/article/giovani-bernard-seeks-more-explosive-runs-in-2014) backs (http://www.nfl.com/fantasyfootball/story/0ap2000000337886/article/gary-kubiak-could-revive-ravens-running-game), Pittsburgh's stable of horses offers something for everyone: A long-term anchor in "Making the Leap" candidate (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000357032/article/around-the-leagues-making-the-leap-countdown) Le'Veon Bell (http://www.nfl.com/player/le'veonbell/2540175/profile), a tantalizing X factor (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000357692/article/dri-archer-drawing-comparisons-to-jamaal-charles) in rookie Dri Archer (http://www.nfl.com/player/driarcher/2543596/profile), and a hammer-dropping change-of-pace runner in LeGarrette Blount (http://www.nfl.com/player/legarretteblount/497149/profile).
I went back and watched all of Blount's snaps for a closer look at what he can offer the Steelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) come September:
What he is
Blount is all power. Thunder to Bell's lightning, the former Buccaneers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tampabaybuccaneers/profile?team=TB) and Patriots (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newenglandpatriots/profile?team=NE) runner gives Pittsburgh a short-yardage pounder with the ability to draw blood.........

Best backfield on paper since Bettis/FWP. The big question is will it be mentioned in the same breath as Harris/Blier?

The answer to that may rest on Munchak's shoulders.

Funny thing though, watching those highlights, it was pretty much all blocking. Blount had a good eye for the hole on one run, and put on some speed in another, but honestly, I think any RB we had over the last couple of years would've done just as well in those clips.

What are the odds of having two 1,000-yd RBs in the same backfield?

As good and as healthy as the O line, unfortunately!
