Ben was recently rated a 2nd tier quarterback by some football experts.

Will this affect Ben's attitude and play?

The last time it seemed Ben may have had something to prove was arguably his rookie year.

He played pretty damn well that year.

I think Ben thrives as the underdog.

I have a feeling Ben is going to play with a chip on his shoulder and a sense of urgency this year that we haven't seen in a while.

Just my $.02

In fact, the last time that Ben had something to prove, it was in 2007, since his 2006 season was atrocious

Ben has played very well in 2nd half of the season last year, so if the o-line plays as in 2nd half of the season last year and the running game improves, Ben should have a another good season

He has only won 2 superbowls he has to prove he's able to at least match what Terry did. Just sayin'

Ben has had something to prove since 2005.

Has he proven it yet? No.

The guy will never his due until he goes back to the Super Bowl and not only wins it, but wins MVP too.

He wants to prove to himself that he can beat Terry's 4 rings.
