Sleek, gaudy as befitting a superbowl ring, but yet modern like their unis. I actually like it. I may have used the emerald a little differently for their color scheme...but still very nice. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/20/seahawks-get-their-super-bowl-rings/

That's a pretty good looking ring for a first try.

I also think they should've used one of the side panels for an engraving of an obnoxious fan wearing a "12" jersey sitting at a computer trolling the comments section on ESPN. Apparently 80% of the country, including everyone who does not find Richard Sherman to be a model statesman on the level of Aristotle and Gandhi combined, is "another whiny Niners fan." People whose location is listed as Virginia or the UK - all whiny Niners fans. People from Kansas City with a Chiefs logo for their avatar - whiny Niners fans. You and I - both whiny Niners fans.
News flash: Every fan of the other 31 teams is not super butthurt that they didn't win the championship. It wasn't our year; we ALL get it. Just a shame it ended up being wasted on such a repulsive fan base, who now feel it's their God-given right - nay, their duty - to go around acting like spoiled brats for the full 365 days. Even Patriots fans were better than that. Even BANDWAGON Patriots fans. Yes, I actually typed that, and I'm now double-checking it and it's not producing any doubt or incredulity at all. Pretty sad.

And when they don't repeat, it'll be because the other team PAYED DA REFS!!!
I really have nothing against the team, but their fans are basically a bunch of insufferable emo douchebags.

You'd better hope that no insufferable emo douchebags read this thread - they would be terribly insulted by the comparison.

I want to so much respect the Seahawks, I really do, but their fans make that impossible.

This is probably where the phrase "Act like you've been there before" comes from ... however, in Seattle's case, they'd probably take it to mean you should have an even bigger ego instead of that you should show a little class.

Nice ring. I like it.

I dunno. One of my besties is a Seahawks fan, and she thinks Richard Sherman is a douchebag.

Like I said, I really have nothing against the team, just the fans. And I have a soft spot for Sherman because of this:

It still makes me laugh.

I respect the team, they were fun to watch.
But the fans are a fucking joke. I remember all the whining after we kicked their ass in XL, I wanted to fly to Seattle and just start punching those Starbucks drinking tech nerds.
I guess over the weekend, those douchebags started saying that last year's Seahawk's defense was the best defense EVER. No fucking way. 1976 Steelers defense was the best defense ever, and I would say that even if I wasn't a fan of the team.
Other single season defenses better than last year's Seahawks: 1985 Bears, 2000 Ravens

Not close to best defense ever. Probably name at least 5 or 6 better than that one.

Not even close is right. Compared to the '85 Bears, they're a joke. Seattle has 4 DBs who don't give up a ton of yards running after the catch. That's their whole schtick. The Bears did that and also beat the dogshit out of you. They had 21 more sacks than this year's Seattle team (and in fact, the 1984 and 1987 Bears, which were basically the same team, have the #1 and #3 records for most sacks in a season all-time, at 72 and 70).
I would also put the 2000 Ravens, the Tampa Bay defense of the same era, and of course the Steelers defense throughout the mid-70s well ahead of Seattle. Also, I'd say the '80s Giants, the '84 49ers and at times the '90s Cowboys were about equal, although in different ways that show up differently in the stats.
Typical of Seattle fans - trying to angle in at every opportunity ot turn "good" or even "very good" into "greatest ever" as if nobody had ever played football before.
