Markus Wheaton (http://www.steelers.com/team/roster/markus-wheaton/aa64cb43-14c9-4635-b577-440a959515e3/)’s rookie year wasn’t what he was hoping for, hampered not just by one surgery on his pinky finger, but multiple surgeries that forced him to wear a splint on it that he had to try and play with.

But in his second season, Wheaton is making big strides. He's saying all the right things, but thus far we haven't seen much on the field. I really hope he can make a big contribution this season, as our receiving corps might be hinged on his success or failure.

if he can convince himself he is not hurt ( even when he is ) then he might be on to something ... Until he shows the ability to stay healthy and available he won't amount to much

yea I know it was only a couple injuries that could happen to anyone , BUT it just has the all to familiar feel to it to me ....
