Wide receiver shuffle:

Markus Wheaton, who opened offseason practices with the inside track to start opposite Pro Bowler Antonio Brown in 2014, participated on a limited basis during the final week of OTAs and may be dealing with some sort of leg or foot injury.

Wheaton’s limited activity provided an opportunity for Justin Brown, who spent all of last season on the practice squad, to get plenty of work with the first-team offense. Brown, Derek Moye, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Danny Coale are among the wide receivers who will likely battle for one roster spot. The real separation won’t happen until training camp and preseason games but the competition will continue at minicamp.

Wheaton is Sanders 2.0 , one nagging little injury after another

Wheaton just can't stay healthy, to the point where we can't even make an accurate judgment of his potential. Oh well, hopefully Justin Brown comes through, and we see a lot of good out of Martavis Bryant.

Maybe the steelers will need Santonio Holmes if some WR on the team are disappointing

He's got a long way to go to be Sanders. Right now he's closer to Limas Sweed than Sanders.

Brown, Moore and Holmes would be a solid trio.

Brown, Moore and Holmes would be a solid trio.

Because Holmes has been healthy and a model of consistency?

Not so sure he is anywhere near the Holmes of old. What is left may very well be just a chemistry roadblock.

no thanks
