PITTSBURGH -- With quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5536/ben-roethlisberger) back at practice, the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers)worked extensively on their no-huddle offense Wednesday.

……..and this

Arthur Moats (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13422/arthur-moats) continued work with the first team at left outside linebacker with Jason Worilds (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/13306/jason-worilds) nursing a calf injury. Worilds, who has practiced just one day since OTAs started, was not on the field Wednesday. Meanwhile, starting fullback Will Johnson (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/14870/will-johnson) is in a walking boot after getting hurt Tuesday.

Something about Worilds just troubles me.

Worilds morphing into Woodley 2.0?

I'm not too worried about him just yet. No sense in him pushing too hard when there are others that would benefit from the reps. He knows the defense, people like Moats do not.

You know what, if Moats gets some playing time and turns out to be even decent, that solves a gigantic fuckin' problem for us. Then with Worilds, we can either take it or leave it instead of being caught up in some dramatic will-he-or-won't-he-and-omg-can-he-stay-healthy-and-what-other-option-do-we-have soap opera. Frankly, I'm already sick of that crap and they haven't even started the season. Or for that matter, the preseason.

We don't need everyone to be James Harrison or Greg Lloyd. That's what the fuckload of other LBs drafted #1 are for. If Moats can give us a couple seasons as Clark Haggans 2.0, or Larry Foote when he was halfway decent 2.0, that's PUH-LENTY.
