One by one, each morning of OTAs, the Steelers linebackers go through an obstacle course of heavy bags. Running through the maze, each linebacker throws a violent smack to the side of the makeshift offensive linemen.
“That’s it! That’s it!” a familiar voice yells.

There’s been a definite snarl among the Steelers’ linebackers through the early going of spring practice. Some of that has to do with consecutive 8-8, non-playoff seasons.

A lot of it has to do with the presence of new defensive assistant coach Joey Porter, who was running the linebackers through the paces.
“You can already see it,” said second-year linebacker Jarvis Jones. “Day in, day out, weight room, film room. Just the demeanor he played with, it comes to work with him every day.”.....

Hell yeah Peezy! Adding some snarl and speed to this defense may be just what the doctor ordered.
