Year after year, the Steelers (http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/) talked the talk with the best of them.

But for the fourth consecutive year, the promise of regaining their identity as a knock-you-in-the-mouth running team failed miserably.
Only five teams were worse running the ball than the Steelers during a second consecutive 8-8 season. Their 86.4 yards per game were the fewest in team history. The streak of not having a 100-yard rusher was pushed to 22 games.

“Embarrassing,” guard Ramon Foster said. “The guys understand that they have to be bullies now. We have to show it. It just can't be talk.”

I'm excited to see the diversity of Bell, Blount and Archer this season. There is certainly enough talent and skill to keep a defense guessing.

IF they don't run the ball this season then expect some personnel changes along the OL. No more trying to make do.

The running game can't not be worst in 2014

If the 1-2 punch of Bell and Blount reaches max potential, it will be fun to watch

Funny, but this "identity" is nowhere to be found in 5 of the 6 Super Bowl victories. After Franco in SB IX, no Steeler RB had over 100 yards rushing in the other 5 Super Bowl wins. The Passing game took over in each. Actually, some of the most famous passing plays in SB history.
