The wide receiver market is dwindling by the hour, with Emmanuel Sanders (http://www.nfl.com/player/emmanuelsanders/497322/profile) the next intriguing name to come to terms. He's especially intriguing because of where he's going.

Sanders is the latest free-agent prize (https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/445024973745573888) of the Denver Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/teams/denverbroncos/profile?team=DEN), NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Saturday, per a Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/teams/denverbroncos/profile?team=DEN) source. The former Steelers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) receiver presumably will take over Eric Decker (http://www.nfl.com/player/ericdecker/497284/profile)'s role in the Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/teams/denverbroncos/profile?team=DEN)' offense. Fox Sports' Alex Marvez first reported the news.
Sanders' journey to the Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/teams/denverbroncos/profile?team=DEN) was fascinating. He visited Jacksonville, Tampa, and Kansas City. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reports that Sanders reached a verbal agreement (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000334406/article/emmanuel-sanders-reportedly-agrees-to-join-broncos) with the Chiefs (http://www.nfl.com/teams/kansascitychiefs/profile?team=KC) Saturday.
Weinberg then negotiated with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tampabaybuccaneers/profile?team=TB), according to another source involved in the process. Weinberg never told the Buccaneers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/tampabaybuccaneers/profile?team=TB) he had accepted the Chiefs (http://www.nfl.com/teams/kansascitychiefs/profile?team=KC)' offer. This all happened before he went to the Broncos (http://www.nfl.com/teams/denverbroncos/profile?team=DEN). Sanders and Weinberg also rankled the 49ers (http://www.nfl.com/teams/sanfrancisco49ers/profile?team=SF) by agreeing to visit, then blowing it off.
"This was one of the worst situations in modern football negotiations," one executive involved said. "Totally wrong. This needs to be stopped."

Wow... sounds like Sanders (and/or his agent) kinda dicked around with those other teams.

Good move for Sanders, getting Peyton Manning to pad his stats and make him look like a better receiver than he is
