as of right now we are down 16 TDs from the passing game last year (Cotchery 10 , Sanders 6 )

we need to do something to supplement our receiving game in FA .....

I do not want to go into the draft with a huge need and reply on a rookie for production ( last years top Rookie WR nabbed us 8 catches )

he may be part of this years answer , but I surely do not want to put all our eggs in an 8 catch basket

meanwhile

Captain Munnerlyn's deal with #Vikings (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Vikings&src=hash): 3 years, $11.25M, $4.45M gtd. Can earn another $3.3M in incentives, escalators.

The Indianapolis Colts (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/ind/indianapolis-colts) and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/12586/hakeem-nicks) have reached agreement on a one-year deal worth 3.5 million, or with incentives a maximum value of $5.5 million

Even signing Cotchery back...there's still a Major hole in the receiving corp. there's just so many holes on this team that there's no way they can fill them all through free agency...even if the cap wasn't an issue.

Check out this article I just posted. Great read.
