if this is true , I would try and get him in house and see where it goes ...

this would null and void the need to take a wr in the draft give us time to see where we are with our disappointing rookie last year ( Wheaton ) , if Wheaton shows worth great if not try and extend Nicks with a multi year deal if he shows worthy ....

I would do 2 million no guaranteed money but with incentives that could top out at 5 million , if he reached the maximized incentives he will have earned it but also a team option for 5 mill in 2015 to be exercised 1 day prior to new league year keeping him from FA market if we choose
