funny they trade UP to get him last year to the number 3 over all spot and already they are having buyers remorse ....
this is what regime change and no leadership gets your franchise

BS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported Friday the Dolphins are looking to retool their roster under a new general management group, (http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-la-canfora/24460690/miami-dolphins-shopping-2013-first-round-pick-dion-jordan) and that retooling would include entertaining offers for wide receiver Mike Wallace (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/71118/mike-wallace), 2013 first round pick Dion Jordan (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/193241/dion-jordan) and edge player Cameron Wake (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/69212/cameron-wake).
Numerous league sources, including executives from other teams, say the Dolphins (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/miami-dolphins) might also be open to dealing receiver Mike Wallace and pass-rushing ace Cam Wake. That perception has only grown through the course of this week, through conversations with numerous decision-makers from other clubs, as Miami looks to retool its roster under a new regime. The situation with Wake makes some sense. He's a 30 year old pass rusher with a hefty contract. He's still productive, but that also means he is still alluring to other teams. He is a good piece of trade bait.
If Wallace is indeed being actively shopped, it would signal an extreme solution...........

I think it would be beyond hilarious if Mike Wallace was traded to Minnesota.

Dolphins deny reports http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000330110/article/miami-dolphins-unlikely-to-shop-jordan-wallace-wake
but I personally do not agree with their denial , I think it is happening and they are trying to avoid panic in the fan base ...
1) Jordan is not a 4-3 player , he lacks the size to be effective in that scheme at this level
2) Wake is 30 and his value will never be higher than it is right now and he is not cheap from a contract perspective
3) they over paid for Wallace and his contract gets nothing but more expencive from here on out , couple that with lackluster production last year and a formula for discontent is made
problem is value vs perceived value as to if anything gets done ....
Wake still highly productive but age and contract size make him a fit in only a few cities .... Value in my eyes is a 3rd round pick and I am not sure Miami would take that
Wallace contract makes him a boat anchor , reason being Miami is on the hook for all of the guaranteed money , his high contract $ limits his suitors and with the lack of production you look for from a #1 WR in that price range you would be lucky to get anything more than a 3rd round pick and I have trouble rationalizing that considering the strengths of this draft
Jordan cost the Dolphins plenty in terms of draft value just 1 year ago , no way you recoup anything close in terms of value as what you just spent 11 months ago ... he could net them a late first round pick in this draft or a 2nd rounder but that in no way covers the cost .... Jordan is the most likely of the 3 to potentially be dealt if Miami can come to terms with the loss in value

Why would they trade in a guy that they barely played? Like seriously put him out there and let him run around then try to shop him. He had limited play, but the dude got his work in. Can he be a full time DE? doubt it for his size, but he has the tools to get around and cause some havoc.
At the same time you cant laugh at the current regime trying to make these changes. This further shows how much of a debacle the Ross/Ireland/Parcells regime was.

actually this all falls on Ireland ....
picking Jordan had many scratching their heads , signing Wallace had others laughing because of the numbers ....
Wake is a separate issue for me , he is productive , he is aging so its smart to try and move him IF you can get something worthwhile in return as his $$ are not cheap either ....
