I wish we could tag Woodley and lower his cost to $9M from $14M.

Or for that matter, tag Heath and get his number to $6M instead of $10M, or Troy and get him down to $7M instead of $10M.

... ugh. We really messed this up bad, didn't we.

You know the restructuring has been bad when the salary on some of our players could have been LOWERED with the franchise tag

Look at it this way, most teams will need to find strategies with the New Rookie pay scale, Timmons and Woodley earned extensions, just leave it at that

Colbert's history with Free Agency for the most part is neither exciting not productive...

In Woodley's case, I think even WITHOUT any restructuring, the cost of using the franchise tag every year would've been less than the total deal we gave him. THAT'S a bad contract.

And now, in honor of my 4,000th post, here's a handy art lesson. Enjoy!

If we had more cap space I'd consider using it on Jason Worilds. Granted it would be expensive but it would give us a year to see if he is the real deal or not. Of course it is a moot point "cause we don't got none" cap space.
