sensationalism and religion do not mix IMO ... perfect example of a false profit , these TV evangelists are after saving 1 thing ( and its not your soul ) its your money and they want to save it not for you , but for them ...

sure some of them do some good with donations they get but the amount spent often times is pennies on the dollar just like a lot of these so called charities that have these ultra sad commercials on TV aimed at pulling your heart strings in an outreach for donation for you to later find out just 5% of what they take in actually goes to help the kids and the rest is lining some CEOs pockets ....

now this is spreading to the use of animals and sad looking pics of them in need of your help ....

pathetic ........

if you want to actually HELP people in need donate food / clothing in person to individuals you see with your own eyes in need , or go to a local food bank and donate non perishables to them ( like a city /county rescue mission / shelter or shelter for abused women )

My wife is a coupon addict and we get stockpiles of some items because of the couponing she does and often times if an item is on sale when the coupon is used it is free or damn near free and when that is the case she gets an abundance of it ( even stuff we do not use ) and we donate it to the woman's shelter or city rescue mission for homeless folks ...... Hygiene stuff is often times free when on sale and a good coupon in a store that doubles coupons ... one trip alone we took 50 tooth brushes and 50 tubes of toothpaste 40 body washes 25 bottles of laundry detergent , feminine hygiene stuff out the wazoo to the local womans shelter ( for battered women who leave home with nothing but the clothes on their back often times ) ....
