Like they say: the more things change the more they stay the same. Undefeated at home in the regular season, playoffs come and promptly go one and done with Daulton turning it over 3 times. Lol

Marvin Lewis 0-5 and Dalton is 0-3 in the playoffs.

And San Diego gets one more game further than they had any right to, courtesy of Goodell's incompetent refs.

We better NOT get docked a draft pick.

This. We would have crushed the Bengals.

They actually owe us an extra pick.

If you're the Bengals how can you possibly commit another season to Andy Dalton? Their overall roster is as good as any in football. But as long as you have Opie Cunningham back there it's never going to get better when it matters most.

Said something similar in the playoff games thread. The Steelers would have handed them their asses once again.

Same question with Marvin Lewis, they've been respectable during his tenure but zero playoff victories after a decade?

Now watch Manning pull his usual postseason choke next week and San Diego waltz into the AFCCG.

You can almost book it. SD can handle Manning and the Den defense is shaky.

Yeah, but SideLineGate was the worst thing to ever happen in NFL history! SideLineGate could shake the integrity of the league to its very core! SideLineGate was a microcosm of everything that's wrong with the NFL and needs fixing ASAP! SideLineGate! SideLineGate! SideLineGate!

And the officiating gaffeS, plural, that effectively put San Diego in the playoffs over the Steelers (besides Mike Pereira)? Crickets.

Oh, and did I mention SideLineGate?!?

Problem is we have 6. I'm sure the NFL would like to see at least one other team and at least the Pats* tie us or go ahead. Then, maybe, the double standard against the Steelers will cease. We are the team the NFL loves to hate. AND the only team that had the nerve to say no the CBA.

Well, you know how it goes. If it didn't benefit the Steelers, then it didn't happen. The league can just stop pretending any day now.

I've lived in several spots around this country and have NEVER seen such poor fans as there are in SW Ohio. They don't know how to keep from taking and giving SMACK talk from becoming personal. Very sad.

The Bengals are like the Falcons, hyped up and cannot deliver. Green Bay choked too. Now I gotta hear about Rivers and Jim Harbaugh who tried to ice the GB kicker in the first half on a 30-yd FG. What a chump.

I still think about the 96 playoff game when Chad Brown broke one of Jim Harbaughs front teeth out. I think I can't stand his brother more. that guy is a whiny you know what.

After hearing the comments during the game about Mccoy (sp), the Chargers' coach, maybe SD is not all that bad.

Apparently he has his rotation to keep players fresh which bodes well not just for the game, but for the overall season. So maybe they are doing well now because they are "fresher".

He told the GM / Owner that they are there to help the players.

Dalton is terrible with the INTs, but the play calling is at fault too. In the Ravens game (I think), they had it at the goal line when he threw an INT instead of them trying to run it in. It seems like when they should run, they pass and vice-versa.

Cincy is just not ready for the big time yet, but if Dalton can keep from turning the ball over (INTs and fumbles) they will be better than most for the foreseeable future.

Welp, I guess I have to root for either SD or Denver.
