its not hatred, i just hate that he has so many dick riders for being horrible this season. loved him against the patriots his rookie season and i thought he was the best nickel corner in the league last season. just disappointing to see him suck all of a sudden this year whether he is starting or just playing in subpackages

see I do not think he has sucked ... I think he was suffering from lingering effects of knee surgery , a bum ankle and rust from not playing the entire preseason , I also think he is experiencing normal growing pains that every new starter in the league experiences when inexperienced ... he has the physical tools and has shown flashes IMO what I have seen is normal growth and maturation ...

I think Tez will be more than fine before its over with ...sure I could be wrong , but I doubt I will be

He was one of my, Must Get, players during the draft. I didn't think he suck either, but again, I wasn't thinking he would come into this league, and this team and set the world on fire. I believe that next year we will see a much improved player. One that will be ready to take a productive place in our defense. I still like the kid a great deal.

Let's not forget the learning curve that Steeler defensive players have in Dick LeBeau's defense. I think Thomas and Cortez will be fine and work out well.

Shamarko's work ethic, that I've read about, reminds me of Antonio's. Yes, we have questions about him now, but I expect Thomas to answer them well in the near future....
