Leading the team, of course, is Mario Lemieux – and he is joined by four other Hockey Hall of Famers in Paul Coffey, Ron Francis, Joe Mullen and Larry Murphy.

Other members of the All-Time Team are Syl Apps, Tom Barrasso, Les Binkley, Dave Burrows, Jaromir Jagr, Rick Kehoe, Pierre Larouche, Jean Pronovost, Kevin Stevens and Ulf Samuelsson.

This must be a list that's exclusive to retired team members, coz there's nooooo way Crosby and Malkin don't make the all time team. They already deserve to be on that roster, IMO.

It was limited to retired players - current players weren't eligible. Otherwise, they'd certainly be on the list. But how the hell didn't Randy Carlyle make the team? He remains the only Penguins defenseman to win the Norris Trophy, which by itself should be enough to get him on, but that was just one of several great seasons he had here. However, Pierre Larouche did make the team, despite having the one great year in 1975-76 playing on a line with Apps and Jean Pronovost, which is one of the greatest lines in Penguins' history. He was only here 3 and a half seasons to boot and had a couple of other good but not great seasons before being traded. Doesn't make sense to me, but that's what happens when you let the fans vote on anything.

Speaking of Larry Murphy, best #55 in NHL history according to SI!
