Eh, I like Byrd, but I wouldn't have given him 2 years at his age. I'd rather them go after Corey Hart.

Ouch. I was hoping he stayed. Anyone have any inclination what the Pirates were offering? I have been out of the loop - anything on Fransico?

He got $16M for two years, a bit much for a 36 yo IMO. Only downfall is that leaves us with tabata, jones, and snider as our options. Hopefully Polanco comes along quick
