I listen (quite loyally) to two Steelers podcasts: The Terrible Podcast and Tunch and Wolf. I love their commentary and the insight they bring to the anticipation of each game. But I can't help but feel like most radio personalities (not just the ones I mention) act as apologists for the coaching staff. Does anyone else get that feeling? They seem to have no issue calling a player out, but when a scheme itself is garbage, the coach is protected from critical commentary. Could they be that oblivious to what fans seem to see immediately or are we largely overly critical of the coaching staff? I like Tomlin and LeBeau, but cannot stand Haley and think he is a cancer to the team. (see https://www.facebook.com/SFVTH for my ongoing contribution to his vocational dismemberment)

Looking for other fans' opinions. I'm somewhat isolated out here as a Chicago native, but feel Steeler Nation's presence even here! Black and Gold!

The coaches should apologize for the steaming pile of dung they field every week.

Love your posting name! :sofunny: And welcome to the board! :drink:

Yeah I get what you're saying, and you're right. But at least with Tunch and Wolf they draw a check from the team for color commentary and sidleline reporting respectively, so I think they've got to be careful about what they say about management.
