when will he stop trying to destroy football .
The possibility of adding two teams to the postseason is one of the "priorities" for the competition committee in 2014, Goodell said.
"If expanding the postseason would allow other teams to get into the dance, and they have the potential of going on and winning the Super Bowl," Goodell explained, "that's a good thing for fans, that a good thing competitively."

Yea, it's all "for the fans". In reality, it's all about the benjamins. That's the only thing that Goodell cares about and he doesn't care if he ruins the game.
We had a game this past weekend where the two teams scored 99 points. IMO that's a disgrace to the game of football.

We've already had 8-8 and even a 7-9 team in the postseason. Expansion would turn it into a farce.
Plus when are we going to play all those extra games? That's six games on the first weekend (7 at 2, 6 at 3, 5 at 4 in each conference).

I can honestly say I didn't watch a lick of football this past weekend. If it's not the Steelers, I simply don't care anymore. And it's largely Goodell's fault.

What's next? Participation trophies for all of the teams that weren't good enough to make it to the post season??

What he said. I hate what this man is doing to the game I love.

I briefly turned to CBS to laugh at Romo's pick but that's about it.

They would have to buy a few trophys under the new plan. And next up 16 games a year in London

I think we've been calling the wrong guy "Hopey Change."
They could put the top 30 teams into the playoffs and the Steelers would still miss.

I am pretty sure that last year or the year before, a 6-10 team would've made the playoffs under this system. That would look real smart.

While we are at it, let's just expand the playoff field to 32, so that every team can make the playoffs. Will that rake in enough money Goodell, you buffoon?

The 0-16 Lions a few years ago should have been a playoff team.
