Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs accuses NFL commissioner Roger Goodell of having a role in the Super Bowl blackout during an interview on ESPN's "E:60" that will air Tuesday.

"I was like Vegas, parlor tricks, you know what I mean?" Suggs said. "I was like, ahh, Roger Goodell, he never stops, he always has something up his sleeve. He just couldn't let us have this one in a landslide, huh?"

Suggs said he believes Goodell favors some teams over others.

"We walk out of the Denver game, and linebackers are warming up on their sideline, and who do we see talking with John Elway, and it's like hmmm. I thought, your commissioner is supposed to be neutral," Suggs said. "He ain't supposed to be on one side or the other; he's supposed to be in the box. I saw him on their sideline and I was like, huh, I know who he's going for. I think he definitely has his favorites."

Suggs added, "He'll deny it, but, like I said, when I run out of the tunnel and the first thing I see is John Elway laughing it up, I'm definitely going to feel some way about that. You're the commissioner of this league and you're supposed to make sure everything is being played on an even playing field. I definitely don't think he's doing a good job, and I don't think he should be making $10 million a year. That's just my personal opinion."

Goodell actually made $29.49 million in 2012, according to the league's tax return.

Good grief - - they win the dang SB and they are still bitching about being discriminated against... Let it rest, for cripes sake... To get respected, you must earn the respect.... They are a bunch of thugs starting with their coach and QB and the trickle effect is in action....

Tell you what, Terrell. Get back to me when the dickhead bags on your QB during Super Bowl week over unproven allegations and in the next breath spouts off about how "neato weato" it would be to have tried and convicted former felon Michael Vick playing in the Super Bowl. :coffee:

I don't hear anyone from the Broncos complaining about officiating that extremely biased in favor of the Ratbirds or anyone on the 49ers complaining about the non-call on the obvious hold, so shut up Thuggs you girlfriend beating scumbag

In a separate but related issue http://s0.uvnimg.com/nfl/fotos/photo/2010-12-02/terrell-suggs_214x320.gif if Suggs isn't using some sort of illegal PED's then I'm not a grumpy old man. It's not just his record setting recovery from Achilles surgery that has me convinced, it's also his muscle definition, which is now even more extreme than in this older picture.

The electric company in New Orleans (Entergy) is notoriously incompetent. Anyone who's ever lived in NOLA knows that's the reason for the blackout.

Well, if the Commissioner has it in for the Steelers and screws them at every turn when he can, wouldn't it be logically the same for the Ravens, since they're known for playing the same type of ball?

Crazy as a loon. But it is a mindset that is being found more and more in modern society. Just heard an interview on NPR from 2006 a woman was at the dome after Katrina and many folks there really thought they were rounded up so the government could knock out the levee and kill them

He's not alone in that regard. I have a suggestion: do your talkin' on the field.
