Here is what kind of season it has been for the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers): Their quarterback was quoted out of context on his own radio show.

At least that is the case when it comes to the Steelers fans who angrily weighed in after Ben Roethlisberger (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5536/ben-roethlisberger) said he doesn't know what to expect from rookie running back Le'Veon Bell (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/15825/le'veon-bell) when Pittsburgh plays the Minnesota Vikings (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/min/minnesota-vikings) in London.

Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan on Tuesday that he didn't know how much pain Bell could play through and that he had no such questions after tight end Heath Miller (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/8444/heath-miller) returned from a major knee injury........

Well that's a huge difference from "Ben isn't counting on Bell", lol

The one thing that Ben is hoping for is a running game. It doesn't matter where it comes from. If Bells first run is for 5 or more yard he will start to build on Bens confidence.

What if his first run is 4 yards?

What if his first run is 4 yards?

Nope. I'm sticking on 5.

I will drop it to 4 if he is hit in the backfield. The way things are going there's a good chance of that.

Talk about not only a team, but a fanbase losing focus . . . does anyone realize that this entire "debacle" is about a starting quarterback saying something about a guy who has yet to even step on the field in a meaningful game?

My interpretation of Ben's comment (that I wrote in the other thread) was dead on. He just says some matter of fact things in interviews as they run through his head without giving too much thought to wording things precisely. I had a feeling that he was just using Heath as an example of a known commodity rather than trying to call Bell out or motivate him in some weird way.
