In the wake of the NFL’s announcement that pop star Bruno Mars will perform the Super Bowl 2014 half-time show, an online petition has been created demanding heavy metal costume band GWAR perform the 2015 show.

Why not? If GWAR showed up at a Raiders game, nobody could tell them apart from the regular fans.

Shoot - - I have known Bruno since he was 4 years old - - doing Elvis imitations with his folks' DoWop group in Waikiki - - I will be excited to see him at the SB..... He is quite an entertainer and a nice guy, too....

GWAR was just at Mr. Smalls in Milvalle. My sister and best friend went to see them. They came home purple. My sisters contacts were stained red. GWAR puts on quite a show.
