The Steelers (http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/) could be without Le'Veon Bell, their projected starting running back, for longer than expected.

Nothing injury related for any player surprises me anymore so far this season.

read this yesterday .... nothing shocking as many anticipated week 4-6 as a return in the beginning ... it was only the false hope of Tomlin that lead us to believe otherwise was posible

They forgot "and never recovers until the offseason, playing at 70 or 80 percent most of the time and missing another month around November or so." Since that's what always happens with these kinds of injuries.

Man. It's like the new initiation rite for highly drafted rookies - in order to join our team, you have to have an injury that messes up your whole first year.

Cut the injury prone slacker. He should be ashamed since the job was given to him out of high school.

Lisfranc injuries require considerable time to heal properly. Santonio Holmes suffered a severe version and it's taken the better part of a year for it to heal. I didn't expect to see Bell until after the bye week.

Absolutely. I'd say right after the BYE may be optimistic even.
