Watching Lebeau get enshrined into the HOF was fantastic. Dick had some fantastic stories.
Seeing the team there for him just shows how special of a person he truly is :tt02:

He is definately a guy I'd love to sit down with and just have him tell me about his experiences with 50+ years of football.

Congrats Coach!!!!:tt02:

Great speech. You could just hear that "Yes, sir and No ma'am" humbleness in his voice.

His feet haven't touched the ground and after listening to that speech and seeing the whole team there to support him, neither have mine.

It was definitely cool.

Great to see the team there waving the TT's and with camera's catching it all.

Also loved how much time he deflected about himself and instead talked about the team.

I can't believe he's 72, he looks so young for his age. But like he emphasized "stay in life", that's probably his secret to his health and success.

Thank you Coach LeBeau and hope you stick around for a few more rings I think we got a few more coming.

Gotta agree that he doesn't look anything like a 70 year old man and love that happy cheese eatin' Grin.

Congrats Mr. Defense!!! Steeler Nation Salutes you and respects the Hell outta you!!!

I actually cried during Coach Dad's speech - it was just beautiful! Like everyone else, seeing the team there waving those TT's was so deeply moving.

Congrats Coach Lebeau and I hope the men you obviously so dearly love and respect will help to put a few more rings on those fingers! I have no doubt whatsoever that these guys feel it to be a tremendous honor to have such a phenomenal coach and man as their mentor. :drink:

I loved how he gave his defense props every chance he got.

"Nobody tells Troy where to go!" Classic quote of the whole speech.

Steelers still reveling in LeBeau's Hall induction

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/steelers/s_694061.html

Steelers inside linebacker James Farrior is entering his 14th NFL season and has won two Super Bowls during his decorated career.
Yet Farrior -- and more than a few of his teammates -- turned into an awestruck fan Saturday night when the Steelers traveled to Canton, Ohio, to watch Dick LeBeau's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Indeed the players that are regularly asked for autographs and to pose for pictures did the same when they got a chance to meet some of the Hall of Famers prior to the induction speeches.
"We were like groupies out there," Farrior said. "Me and (Larry) Foote were walking around and I had my camera with me. We were trying to get all the pictures."
Dan Marino, Harry Carson and Joe Gibbs were among the Hall of Famers that posed with Farrior. Of course, the snapshot that will mean the most to Farrior is the one he took with LeBeau following the Steelers defensive coordinator's induction speech.
