It should be a little disconcerting to quarterbackBen Roethlisberger that the Steelers scored only 56 points in four preseason games, fewest in the AFC and second fewest in the NFL.

But, after the offense put up its lowest total in a 25-10 loss Thursday night to the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, Roethlisberger said he likes the offense and is ready to break out more of the attack when the regular season begins in eight days...........

As long as Ben doesn't have to fend off defenders after only 0.25 seconds every play, I see the potential.

I'd rather see this than the "Fire the OC/Tomlin was only hired because he's black" threads that crop up annually.

I'd rather see this than the "Fire the OC/Tomlin was only hired because he's a jive coach/LeBeau is too old and senile defense sucks" threads that crop up annually.

Unfortunately I don't see it happening with a questionable OL and questionable RBs.
