I just saw on NFL Network that Max was cut.

He would certainly be better than Guy Whimper and probably be better than Gilbert and Adams

This. Hell, I'D probably be better than Whimper.

From what I saw of the preseason, I'd rather have Willie Parker play LT than Whimper. You know this is not something I take lightly.

whats it matter none of the guys we have now can block so if he can't he would fit right in

I actually think if Pouncey gets his head where it belongs and plays better The entire Oline will play better i really think they feed off his performance. But i would like to see max back he knows ben and his tendencies

I agree would love to see Max back , however with the new numbers distributed today for the players and # 78 being given to Whimpy I think it is just wishful thinking he will return ....

Max is done here like it or not ( I chose not ) we have a new 78 and he sucks ass

There's no way we're getting Max back unless there are a number of injuries and we go back to the type of zone blocking that we were using before, rather than this all-out type that is being instituted now. Remember that coming out of college, one of his biggest problems was heavy feet. He never got over that. It is still a major problem for him, and is not ​the type of issue you want in a Tackle in this type of offense.

You get no argument from me that its not the kind of system that leans towards his best assets , my point is ( I believe ) he could do it better than many guys on the current roster , at least once he latches onto someone they normally do not get past him unlike just about everybody we have trotted out there this year so in that aspect his type of system or not he would in my mind be an upgrade ...

nothing more , nothing less
