Pittsburgh Steelers running back LaRod Stephens-Howling had a strong showing last week in the preseason opener against the New York Giants and head coach Mike Tomlin certainly took notice of his debut in the black and gold.

"He has quickness and great vision," Tomlin said during a recent interview with steelers.com (http://steelers.com/). "He’s a good one-cut runner, and so you can say he does display some of those talents. But he also appears to be very comfortable in the passing game, which is exciting.".............

I'd rather he get excited about using someone with a number in the eighties (or #11) in the passing game.

That's what I want to see this season. If he's a good blocker,he could be the 3rd and long back.

All things considered I liked the addition of Howling and I think he'll make some exciting plays for us... but I do hope we never have to rely on him as a feature player.
