Nice to see a back-up that has some mobility.

I like him he looked real comfortable back there.

I agree I like him too. I think he will be much better then what we've had in the past.

Sadly we know he will probably play a game or two.

The thing is, if we know we have a legitimate backup that can win games, maybe Ben would sit a little more when injuries started accumulating in the season, and let them heal. I'd much rather have him out for a game or two, than end up with him out for four games.

I hate to agree, but after what I saw tonight, I have a feeling Ben is going to be running for his life again back there more than not.

Preacher makes a good point. Really glad we got him.

Yeah that's a good point. I think Ben played through too much at times because he knew it was basically going to be a loss without him.

The first team o-line played well tonight....Of course, if the Steelers have injuries to the o-line they are in trouble

I thought the pass protection left a lot to be desired. However, it was the Giants and their defensive front is among the best in the business.

Actually, the end of that play underscores the problem with Leftwich - bones of glass.

Need to create a short passing game to take the pressure off instead of run up the middle, run up the middle, run for your life pass, punt. The offense needs to score more points or it will be another wasted defense.

I like what I saw of Gradkowski last night. Definitely an improvement over Batch and Lefty.

I've been following Bruce's twitter account. Aside from him being an extremely proud father of a sweet baby girl (whom he proudly posts daily pictures of), he is ecstatic to be in Pittsburgh. And it showed last night.

I liked what I saw out of Bruce. He made some nice throws and seemed to lead the offense rather well. Of course, there were a few plays he didn't do as well, but that is preseason. IMO he's the backup at the moment. Jones and JPW didn't do anything in my eyes to change that.

Is C. Batch still on the team? I haven't seen him.
