Ben Roethlisberger rolls to his right, looks downfield and spots Plaxico Burress in single coverage near the sideline. Burress catches the ball perfectly on his fingertips as he adeptly stays in bounds. The cornerback has no chance to defend because of Roethlisberger's pass placement and Burress' height and leaping ability.

It's just like old times for the Steelers (http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/) passing game in Latrobe — or, more precisely, just like 2004. By NFL standards, it's almost ancient times. But while Burress no longer is the Steelers' primary receiver two weeks away from his 36th birthday, he still possesses recognizable ability and an unmistakable chemistry with Roethlisberger..........

The title of this thread is misleading. Ben and Burress have always had a rapport that dates back to 2004. Believe me when I say, the main reason why the Steelers signed Burress late last season was because Ben wanted him.

It's just too bad he can't run a 4.2 40, the major skill required for WR. :sarcasm:

Up until November of last year Burress was out of the league. If it wasn't for Ben's endorsement to bring him in he'd still be out of the league. At, soon to be, thirty-six years of age Burress is down right lucky he's in an NFL training camp at this point in his career. Actually, he's down right lucky to still have a career.
