Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested early Saturday morning in Washington, D.C.,
I think that's what explains it. In D.C. they've got some of the most draconian gun laws in the entire nation, basically an outright ban on guns and probably ammo too. I'm amazed it's stood for as long as it has with no one challenging it, but then again, that place is so fucktarded it's beyond belief.

All these little bullshit laws that are nearly impossible to comply with makes a great number of the citizens of this country criminals. Its all about finding tricky ways to bring in the cheddar when you're a debt based economy.

Bryce Brown also had seven dogs taken away from him in a possible dogfighting case.

Jesus, these kids are ignorant. Surely life in the NFL is better than the hood? Why keep going back?

That is a great question. I wish I had the answer. It is sad to see anyone throw their life away because they can not stay out of trouble.

Update in the Brown situation. Dogs have been returned, Brown not a suspect in anything.

I have no idea either. Maybe you have to be registered to have a gun in order to have ammo? Or maybe every time you buy bullets you have to fill out some form and declare them? I honestly have no idea; this is all so stupid that it's completely foreign to me, but just throwing out some guesses.

^^ you had it right the first time. It is illegal to own ammunition if you are not registered to have a gun. So, while it sounds like you have to register your ammo in the charges above, that's not the case. It's just bad wording I guess

Actually, that is misleading. He sent a dog to a kennel to be bred and she had her litter. The kennel was raided for dog fighting, his dog and her puppies was returned to him.

Again, there’s no evidence or allegation Brown did anything wrong. It appears that he simply picked the wrong kennel.

This along with the fact that criminals don't comply with laws and gets guns anyway explain why the D.C. crime rate (even minus the illegal activity going around in the federal government) is so high

Article says "was traveling in a vehicle" so I'm assuming he wasn't the driver or gun owner. Better for him, but still a situation of avoiding problematic people.
