Who will be the Steelers... .?

MVP I'm going to be an optimist and say Big Ben

Most improved player Cameron Heyward. I think this is the year the light comes on and he plays like a first round draft pick. I'll put DeCastro a close second

Player in steepest decline. Larry Foote. I think this will be the year that he completely drops off the table.

Leading rusher Going with the kid. Levon Bell.

Leading receiver. Antonio Brown, and it wont be close.

Leader in touchdowns scored. Going with the kid again. I think Bell make score about 11 Td's combined running and receiving.

First starter benched. Larry Foote.

Offensive lineman who gives up the most sacks Marcus Gilbert. Max Starks will be missed early in the season. But as the season progresses I think Gilbert's play will start to come around. \

and least . I'm going to go Ramon foster. I think he's going to have a strong year, but hardly anyone will notice.

First to go on IR. Whoever Marcus Gilbert falls on first. :chuckle: Sorry couldn't help myself. No one's going on the IR this year, they're all staying healthy!

Leader in sacks. Woodley. I think he comes back strong this year and puts up 12+ sacks

Leader in qb pressures. Keisel has led in this category the last few years, so I'm going to guess that Cam Heyward comes on strong and nips da Beard for this one.

Leader in forced fumbles. Lawrence Timmons.

Leader in interceptions. I thought about Cortez Allen, but decided to go with Troy, who I think will have a resurgent season and get 6 interceptions. Put me down for Allen with 4.

Rookie of the year. Going with Levon again.

Standout on special teams. Shabiz, or whatever the kid safety from Syracuse is called.

My speculations will be no more enlightening than anyone else's, but I do find your choice of Foote as first starter to be benched to be an interesting one. I might be inclined to agree if Spence was healthy, but given that this isn't so, who do you see replacing him? I mean technically you're kind of right already if you take into account that Timmons took his job years ago. ;)

I think the choice you're most likely to see in that spot from other commentators will be Worilds, especially when Dwins finds this thread. :)

While I was writing that, Steelreserve picked Worilds before I got a chance to post. Do I get guru credit for predicting others' predictions. ;)

EDIT: I clearly read Steelreserve's post wrong at first glance. But I stand by my prediction of predictions.

I knew you wouldn't let me down with the Worilds call as first starter benched. But Cortez Allen as MVP? That's a bold prediction right there. I predict that you will be the only one to make that prediction. ;)

And isn't that a bit of a cheat to predict Spence as first guy on IR? But points for being the first guy to think of it. :)
