Hines Ward competed in The Oread IRONMAN 70.3 Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas yesterday, finishing a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bicycle ride, and a 13.1 mile run in 5:53:18.

Good to see twinkle toes is staying competitive and fit.

Gotta give props to triathletes. It is grueling.

Other than wrestling I'd say running a 10k was about the most grueling competition I ever entered.

Wow! He sure has slimmed down. 40lb. lighter than his playing weight puts him at about 165lb. You're still looking great hines

Geez had no clue he was here! That's about 30 minutes from my house :( I probably would've rolled out that way to scam a picture w/ him.

I'll go with what the clock in the photo says and assume the other was a typo unless it is a staggered start and that is total time of the event and he started 40 min later than the first guys ?

I honestly do not know how those events work
