Pittsburgh Steelers (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) coordinator Todd Haley (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/player/toddhaley/2515611/profile) has finally won over (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000207593/article/big-ben-gains-voice-in-pittsburgh-steelers-game-plans) Ben Roethlisberger (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/player/benroethlisberger/2506109/profile), allowing his quarterback to take more ownership of the offense through check-downs and hot reads (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000207565/article/ben-roethlisberger-now-embracing-todd-haley-steelers-offense).

Former Steelers (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) head coach Bill Cowher told NFL Network in an interview that will air on "NFL Total Access" (7 p.m. ET) that Haley's offense could be "one of the best things to happen" to Roethlisberger's career. Between Haley's emphasis on the quick-passing game and the recent early-round draft picks on the offensive line, Cowher believes Roethlisberger has added years to his career after taking too many hits in his first nine seasons.

Much like (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000202195/article/bruce-arians-dont-rank-andrew-luck-over-big-ben) former Steelers (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/teams/pittsburghsteelers/profile?team=PIT) coordinator Bruce Arians (http://www.steelersuniverse.com/player/brucearians/2508619/profile) and Around the League's Gregg Rosenthal (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000200116/article/ben-roethlisberger-voted-to-top-100-players-of-2013), Cowher takes exception to Roethlisberger's ranking as the 12th-best quarterback and 61st overall player in NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2013 list..........
