Whimpy = The New Jonathon Scott ?

I would take J Scott over whimper 10 times out of 10 and I loath J. Scott

Scott is better

New #Steelers OT Guy Whimper graded out 74th-of-80 in @PFF's 2012 offensive tackle ratings. Allowed NFL-high 14 sacks in 2011.

It's the Steeler way. Just patch the O-line with untalented castoffs.

This guy will probably be starting when Gilbert goes down. Gilbert will go down. He's soft, IMO.

Report: Max Starks Left San Diego Without Deal, Still In Mix For #Chargers - #Steelers Depot
Free agent tackle Max Starks visited with the San Diego Chargers on Wednesday, but according to Michael Gehlken of The San Diego Union-Tribune, he left town without a contract and remains unsigned as of Friday.

Gehlken goes on to state in his reports that just because Starks left without a contract, doesn't necessarily mean that the Chargers won't have interest in signing him at later date.

I think Beachum will surprise this year. I like his size, but more importantly I like his attitude and his brain. He is a willing learner.

IMO, I don't think Beachum will ever be fast/quick enough to play LT. I agree that he is an intelligent person, but I believe his physical side will never match up. Is he considered to be a LT off the bench? I figured he was strictly G or RT.

Well, here is to hoping he turns out to be that surprise.:drink:

Well if we run a lot more zone blocking under Bicknell, lack of size doesn't matter nearly as much. It's all about the lateral movement and burst off the snap. Inside/outside zone is all about sealing off your man or getting to the second level.
